Look at Cologne’s tourist landmarks from a different angle – would you like to see the sights during your stay but avoid the tourist hustle and bustle? Savour an aperitif or lunch at the Flora, the city’s botanical gardens, and cross the Rhine in a cable car while you soak up the best views of the cathedral city. After arriving at the “Schäl sick” (vernacular for the right bank of the Rhine), step onto the scaled-down railway for a trip through the Jugendpark. Before you cross the famous Hohenzollernbrücke bridge towards the cathedral and savour a cool “Kölsch” at one of the breweries, we recommend you climb a few floors and take in the views of from the Cologne Triangle encompassing the entire city and Cologne Cathedral – one of the most striking landmarks the city has to offer.
